21 Children Dead In School Shooting.The 2nd Amendment has got to go
It is with a very heavy heart and a gnawing sense of anger that I report the tragedy of 21 children and 2 adults have been massacred in a school shooting Uvalde, Texas. Apparently a deranged 18-year-old walked into the school indiscriminately shooting students between the ages of 6 and 9 years old. Police, including Border Patrol units nearby killed the shooter as he barricaded himself in a room. Apparently, the suspect shot and critically wounded his grandmother before going on the rampage. Reactions has been swift with people all over the world sending condolence's and the ever present "sending thoughts and prays" which after so many past school massacres ring hollow as the inevitable government response that "something has got to be done". Nothing ever is. And every year or so the same damn thing happens and the same damn bullshit rides again and again nothing is done.
