The Night Buckwheet Visited Little Italy

One summer night, hot as Hell. Everybody is out. Around Crotona Ave comes Joey Scales. Everybody stops and turns turns. Why? He's holding an old black man with huge buck teeth under the arm They get close to a bunch of guys and Joe yells out " Youse are not gonna believe who this?". Everyone looks at Joey then they look at the old buck toothed black man and they shrug their shoulder. "It's Buckwheath from the Little Rascals!" he yells. A roar goes up and soon the Buckwheet's shaking a hundred hands, Polaroid's are snapping, guys who never got within ten feet of a black man before are slapping him on the back. The guy is loving it! In to the cafe. Guys are fighting with each other to by a him a drink. Twenty minutes the guys half stewed. To the next social club he goes. Again the drinks flow like water. New Study: Money Can Buy Happiness! Psychiatrists Overjoyed

It turns out that the old adage - espoused by many and believed by none - that money can't buy happiness has been debunked. A Harvard Professor  found that people who can afford things that are transient, "experiences" as she puts it are generally happier than those that cannot. People who spend freely on "Experiences" such as vacations, eating out with friends, visiting new friends who charge by the hour for their time... were generally happier than those who could only afford "things", such as food, shelter and the occasional Craigslist shopping spree that involves haggling a seller of a $30  watch down to $3.50. To quote: "Because experiences disappear, they let us make up a reality that was amazing and wonderful, and they make us happier," than stuff, Norton said. So in a sense what she really means here is that money can indeed buy happiness in ways that leave us delusional and perhaps borderline schizophrenic

Mitt Romney and the consequences for the American male

So Mitt Romney looks to be doing well at the primaries? He's charismatic, looks good and is a Mormon. Imagine if he's elected and passes a law that all American men must have more than one wife. That would be...would be... Great Caesars Ghost! Hey Abbott! Jumping Butterballs! More than one wife! Imagine,2,4,10 wives along with 2,4,10 mothers-in-law! And multiple brothers-in-law most of which will probably be looking to borrow money off you! Beware American Man, theoretically it could happen. I mean, look at Bring-em Young, grandfather of the Mormon faith, he had fifty-six. Yes, he lived to a ripe old age. Why? Those fifty-six hounds wouldn't let him die. He probably wanted to. Just now I bought an open ended airline ticket to the Canary Islands. This guy gets elected I'm running for cover at least until I know the coast is clear. BTW. Who names their kid Mitt? A frustrated minor league player?
