Thoughts Out Of Season

  I was working a rare morning shift when we received a call for a cardiac arrest, CPR being performed by the victim's daughter. Lights and sirens screaming we pull up to the building in no more than 2 minutes. We hustle up to the apartment where the door is opened. We walk inside. I look to my left into the bedroom and see a woman on the floor on her back. Doing chest compressions is a girl approximately 12 years hold. I gently take the girl by the arm and move her out of the way and as I do I see 5 children probably between 5 and 10 years old looking on, mouths agape and eyes stretched wide open, trying to comprehend the scene before them. None crying.. I look down at the woman, do a quick check and immediately see that the woman must have died hours before during the night as when I put my hand on her chest and it was cold as ice. Me and Steve are working EMS unit 18 Young one night. We get a call for an unconscious on 148st and 8th Avenue. NYFD gets there first. We get our equipment and start up the stairs. On the way up we run into the firemen coming down. NYFD lieutenant: " Yeah. He had a seizure. He's post-coitus" I turn my head and look at Steve and he's laughing so I bust out laughing" FD lieutenant: "What's so funny?" his voice defensive Me: " Lou. The patient is post-ictal.   Who in the Hell gave Nancy Pelosi the authority to make a stop in Taiwan on her trip to Asia. Did she decide this all by herself? Is this lady that maniacal to stop at one of the most hotly contested countries in the world like she was stopping off for a day at Disneyworld? Currently she is in the air over the Pacific presumably to head a delegation to Asia with a stop into Taiwan. The Chinese warn they have the right to shoot her damned plane out of the sky. AND I DON'T THEY ARE JOKING! In a matter of hours we could  seeing the greatest world threat since the Cuban Missle Crisis with a much, much different and catastrophic ending. This geriatric upstart is at this moment playing a game of chicken with China. Will she back down and not go to Taiwan? I think she's to damn narcissistic. All eyes are on Sri Lanka right now as economic devastation racks the country from end to end. But if your going to point fingers at the government don't to forget to point one or two at the International MONETARY FUND. his organization has tossed every damned country it has ever lent to into such turmoil it actually seems like they do it on purpose, like some Satanic institution determined to cause abject misery for every country who accepts their blood money and thus  signs their soul away as if to the Devil wrote the comnitions. Then you'll have a better undertanding of why Sri Lanka and all the other countries that deal with the Satan International Monetary Fund are headed the same way. And there are many.

  Today millions of people are rejoicing in Sri Lanka at the resignation of Prime Minister Panil Wickremesinghe. The country has been plunged into chaos by economic devastation that has seen widespread food and fuel shortages, cuts in power and electricity sometimes lasting 12 hours a day, crippling inflation and even scarcity of medication to treat the most serious diseases. Lines for petrol snaked for miles through the streets u til the government outlawed sales to anyone but essential services like police, fire and EMS. Millions of people have taken to the streets in jubilation that the reigning government is now gone But what comes next? Who will emerge to take charge? Will it be the military who will restore calm using tactics, well that  militaries usually do? Will a military strongman come to power and install autocratic rule and put a clamp on democracy? Will it be a civilian government set on honoring all that democracy has to offer? Whomever is in charge is going to ...
